Funeral services were conducted v from the Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville, Monday evening it 2 o'clock, with his pastor the Reverend L. M. Carroll delivering the sermon. Assisting ministers were the Reverend Messrs. John J. Jackson, Thomas Proctor, and R. L. Banks. ' Active pallbearers were some of Walter’s bov friends: Finley Andes, Clifford Aylor, Richard Williams, Morris Glasker, William Avlor and Jack Rankin.
