Re-organize Patrols
At Home Sunday
Three explorer scouts, Dudley Wood, Glen Williams and Johnny Browning, with Paul Nichols, cooked their supper out of doors last Wednesday evening. Taking their equipment to the Williams farm, Mr. Nichols demonstrated _^he use of a fire pit and made, a reflector oven out of pieces of tin. The boys cooked potatoes, hamburger and onions and voted the whole experiment a success. A new executive committee, known as the Green Bar, was set Up at Thursday’s Scout meeting of Troop 36. The three patrols were reorganized into two larger patrols, the Flying Eagle and the Wolf, having ten members each. The members of the Green Bar consist of three Senior scouts and %he patrol leader from each patrol. They will meet each Monday evening to plan for the regular scout meeting each Thursday. The scouts will be in charge, of traffic and parking at the firemen’s carnival Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
