Sperryvilie ft. u. ciuo met at the home of Mrs. G. W. Powers, Wednesday evening. Mrs. Anne Thompson lead a club discussion on requests for the coming year. The demonstration was on “Salad Making and Salad Dressings.”
Fourteen participated in an Honor Club picnic at Shulers in Lurav. AH members enjoyed swimming and picnicing. Honor club members attending were: Betty Rutherford, Faye Black, Dolly Smith, Eddie Sutphin, Glen Updike, Kelly Updike, Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Rapley Owings, and Mrs. Elizabeth Powers. Guests attending were Billy Bruce, Mrs. Rapley Owings and family.
Mrs. Clara Pearman, County Chairmarf, Mrs, Jessie Rowzie and the home agent attended the Institute of Rural Affairs held at V. P. I. l^st week. Tuesday, July 26, was the state meeting of the Home Demonstration clubs. Mrs. Pearman participated in officers training workshop. Mrs. Jessie Rowzie attended the workshop on Health and Safety. The federation goal continued for the coming year in our hopie demonstration program. Mrs. Elizabeth Powers attended workshop on Program Planning. '
