Comity Farm Bureau
At a recent meeting the Rappahannock county Farm Bureau passed the following recommendations:
Recomendations National.
1. The first problem of agriculture is a matter of selling and distribution of products rather than over production.
2. In our opinion the farm problem cannot be solved by partisan politics. •, . > 3. We recommend that our legislators get advice on farm problems from farmers themselves instead of non farm groups, j 4. Recommend that this country trade surplus farm products to foreign countries for strategic materials, or for soft currency. Believe that we need aggresive selling of our surpluses in foreign countries on a business basis unhampered by prohibitive trade barriers such as the "Cargo Preference Clause”.
