me next business under discussion was the raising of money. Yearly dues of 50 cents per person were agreed upon. It was also agreed to serve a lunch at the auction sale at Jessamine Hill Farm, Wednesday and Thursday, December 19 and 20.Parent8 are asked to donate food and to report through their children what they will contribute. A prize will be awarded to the room which brings in the most food. Donations of money in lieu of food will also be welcomed. Mrs. John Williams will be in charge of the lunch on Wednesday and Mrs. Sarah Latham,Thursday.

There was some discussion of Christmas parties for the children and it was decided that they be left to the individual teachers<and help from the parents will be most welcomed on Friday, December 21 from 9:30 a. m. until 11:30 a. m. One suggested project was to cover the outside stairway to the cafeteria thereby affording shelter in the winter and rainy weather. Mr. Warner will investigate and obtain estimates on the cost of this work. —The -rim meeting of the PTA will be' on Tnursday, January 10, 1963, at 7:30 p. m. It is strongly urged , that more parents come and join this highly worthwhile organization. Refreshments of cookies and coffee were served following the adjournment of the business meeting.
