The annual Christmas service of the Flint Hill and Washington Baptist Churches will be held at Washington Baptist Church Sunday, December 23, at 8:00 p.m. The Rev. Warren Wilbur and the Rev. TURKEYS
The turkey supply seems to i be adequate. Slaughter during the last week of October ■ and the first three weeks of November was good, and it looks as though December , slaughter may be lighter than expected. Most Christmas turkeys have already been bought and the price for heavy types for the Christmas market seems to be about a cent higher than prices paid at Thanksgiving. Look for no appreciable rise between now and the Holidays, with prices holding about firm.
