Mr. and Mrs. Philly Winkler and family and Mr. Winkler's mother, Mrs. W. T. Winkler of True Blue were Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Weaver had as recent visitors Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson, the Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson and Mrs. R. M. Johnson of Woodville, Mrs. E. H. Huffman and Dorothy Jean Huffman of Culpeper. John Jenkins, Jr. entered the Blue Ridge Sanitorium in Charlottesville on November 26th. He is reported to be Improving satisfactorily1 after an operation in November at the University Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fincham were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Scroggins of Lignum. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Payne and children of Travillian attended church in Slate Mills on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henry Jenkins of Fort Sill, Oklahoma are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jenkins while on leave. Marshall Dwyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dwyer of Salem will be home from Blue Field College on December 15 for the Christmas holidays. ■
