Garden Club Luncheon Held At Cab Inn The Rappahannock County Garden Club's annual Christmas luncheon held at‘ Cab Inn on Saturday, Decem-ber 8 was a gay and festiveholiday occasion with 31 members and guests attending. All present voted on the gifts most attractively wrapped and the package wrapped by Mrs. W. E. Hening as a yule log tied for first place with the package wrapped by Mrs. Maurice Walker. Her package represented a Christmas night scene with blue foil paper representing the sky covered with stars and a snow scene 'Dn the sides. To break the” tie straws were drawn and Mrs, Hening won first and Mrs. Walker second with the white package tied with green fern and blooming fushia wrapped by Mrs. C. B. John- - son winning third. The gifts were then exchanged. They were all suitable for gardening and included everything from growing plants to hand lotion. The only gift that didn't seem appropriate was the Evening in Paris bath powder that one of the gentlemen received as a gift. Mrs. W, C. Hall who had been responsible for all the arrangements for the luncheon as well as the holiday table decorations asked that the guests be introduced. Mrs. Maurice- Walker of Falls Church and Miss Devanad Rebedee were guests of Mrs. J. P> Cook> Mrs. A. H. Keyser guest of Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. Johanna Patzig guest of Mrs. Charles H.
