Hamilton Ficklinof Amissville died Thursday, December 6, at his residence, following a recent illness. Son of the late James Ficklin and Ella J. Green, his wife, and a native of Fauquier , County, he was 81. Mr. Fidklin was 4 veteran Tof the, S{>ahish-At$erican War in which he saw action in the siege of Santiago, and i served; in the <U* S* Navy for four years following the war. He made his home fort a number of years in Wash-i ' ift^torl, D. C;, fthe^^Tie was* employed at the Naval Gun Factory. He is survived by his wife,> Mrs. Odessa Green Ficklin,; and two half-sisters.
