Chester Gap Carnival

Chester Gap Firemen opened their annual carnival Wednesday night', July 3, with a display of fireworks as feature attraction along with rides, games, prizes, good food and other entertainment.
Friday night there will be a band concert and the big attraction Saturday night will be the awarding of the grand prize, a 1963 Ford Falcon. The community and firemen of Chester Gap invite everyone to share the fun and prizes the last two nights of their carnival, Friday and Saturday, July 5 and 6.
Elected Bank Director Wade H. Massie IllofWashington was elected to the Board of Directors of Rappahannock National Bank at a meeting held Monday, July 1. He will serve for the remainder of 1963, filling the unexpired term of his father, the late Wade H. Massie, Jr.
