were Saturday evening dinner guests of the Miller's. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Absher moved this weekend from the trailer home occupied by Mrs. Absher for the past year to Harrisonburg where they will live for the next two months. In , September Mr. Absher will enroll at Oklahoma State' University.' Col. and Mrs. E. A. McNear and daughter,' Nancy erf Vint Hill Station, Warrenton and Col. McNear's parents of Pennsylvania spent the weekend at Greenrv wood. Mrs. Emma Alther had the misfortune to fall on Sunday and sustained a broken arm. She was accompanied to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by Mrs. B. M. Miller where her arm was set and she remained in the hospital overnight. The Rev. and Mrs. Arnold Sorrells and family were Sunday luncheon guests of Miss Mary Miller Wood. Mrs. T. C. Lea left Sunday for a weeks visit with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill in Richmond. Mrs. J. A. Elmore of Lawrenceville arrived Tuesday to visit her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Palmer. Dr. John Turner left Sunday to begin his internship at Norfolk General Hospi-/ tal.
