The Rev. Arnold Sorrells conducted his first service Sunday at Washington Baptist Church which was attended by a large and appreciative congregation. Mr. and Mrs. Sorrells and two children moved Saturday into the parsonage at Flint Hill. Mrs. J. W. Warren of Farmville is spending some time with her sister, Mrs. J. W. Critzer. Mr. and Mrs, Field Benton and son Hugh of Ocracoke, N. C., are spending a few days as guest of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller. Hugh is • recuperating from a tonsillectomy performed last Wednesday.
