Mr. and Mrs. Donny Walker and family of Clinton, Md. and Mrs. Goldie Clements of Washington, D. C. are expected to spend 4th of July with Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Hensley and family and Mrs. Gladys Schlesser and daughter Gladyn. Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thornhill and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Thornhill were Mrs. James Hamilton, her daughter and son and Miss Peggy Burke of Silver Spring, Md. Sunday dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ronny Hopkins and daughter, Colleen, Mrs. James Glover and son, Glenn Allen, all of Washington, D. C, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thornhill and daughter, Vennie, of Culpeper, Renny Burke, Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Thornhill and four daughters of Boston. Mrs. Alfred Jenkins spent Monday in Culpeper at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Della Fincham. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Winkler and daughter, Kathy, were Sunday visitors of his mother, Mrs. W. T. Winkler at True Blue. The Mt. Lebanan and the New Salem Church Sunday School held a combined picnic Sunday at Hawkesbill Pool and Picnic Afrea, west of Luray. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Butler of Arlington spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Burke. Mrs. George Hahn visited her brother and sister-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Updike and family of Charlottesville Thursday through Saturday. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. John Jenkins, moved her father, Fred Jenkins, from the Mountain View Nursing Home to the Southwestern State Hospital at Marion. Irving Jenkins of Fredericksburg is spending this week with his aunt and auncle, Mr. and Mrs. John Jenkins.
