Average Price $125.38 Hd. Paid at Angus Feeder Sale
Rappahannock Angus breeders sold 1210 head of cattle at the annual Rappahannock Angus Feeder Calf Sale held Tuesday at the Front Royal Livestock Market. In spite of the drought the animals were only a pound lighter than last year and sold for only 2 cents less than a year ago. The sale average was $27.56 per cwt with the average price per head $125.38. Average weight of the cattle was 452 pounds. A detailed report will be given next week.
