To add excitement to the comforting and relaxihg moods of the visitor, someone got careless and let two forest fires start in the Park and one on private lands adjacent to the Park. These fires fortunately were brought under control by Park Rangers and State Forest Firewardens. Even with the crowded conditions and the incidents that occurred, Mr. Kulesza states that the crowds were the most orderly and best natured that he has witnessed-in many years. While last week and this past weekend brought the Park's fall colors to their peak, Mr. Kulesza would like to 'remind everyone that the colors at lower elevations are just mak- ’ lng their bids for a brilliant show of red, yellow and orange against a background of green.
