Recently Mrs. Ruth Rankins of Sperryville was the winner and crowned “Willing Worker of the Year" in a Fundraising contest sponsored by the Rappahannock Citizens League. Mrs. Hilda Jordan of Amlssville placed second. The contest ended with a program in which Mr. M. M. Marshall of Culpeper was the principal speaker and also crowned the winner.
