Selected students are aC-^V mltted at the beginning of their third-year in college.. Their studies are planned so as to lead to a master's degree at the end of one year of graduate study. Most of the successful master's degree graduates will continue on for their doctoral degrees. Prizes of $400 will be awarded in the fourth year to each student. In their graduate year the students will be designated University Fellows and will receive $1,800 fellowships, plus tuition. Two later groups, of about 30 students each, will be recruited from both secondary and college-lews!* schools in Virginia and from selected schools throughout the country.

'There will be a shooting match on Saturday, Oct. 19, 1963 at Amlssvtlle Carnival grounds beginning at 1 p.m. Prizes will consist of bams, turkeys, and fruit cakes. 12, 16 and 2<F gauge guns may be used. The Amlsevllle Fire Company is sponsoring the shooting match.
