PROGRAM-& ' PUBLIC EDUCATION — In yonders field lies the destiny of the world. Mold it in a form of obedience and tolerance. Preserve the school system. Require all children of school age to attend school, and the necessary teeth put into the law and empower the proper officials to enforce this law. CLEAN INDUSTRY IN THE COUNTY—Encourage clean industry to locate in county. It would renew prosperity, .help relieve the ever spiralling tax burden, create jobs for people in the county who are seeking employment. COUNTY SUPERVISED RECREATION — Recreation is an education within itself. On the playgrounds tots learn to assemble io^s.-Track stem have been, given their start. Recreation will stem delinquency — delinquency stems from idleness.* MEDICAL CARE FOR THE FEEBLE MINDED— Prisons or other places of confinement alone will not take the place of medical attention. CARE FOR THE AGED — More adequate care given the aged, including housing, medicine and attention. PRESERVATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES — The preservation of natural resources should be upheld. Our streams, forests, historical landmarks, etc., should be preserved. SCHOOL TEACHERS’ PAY — To attract the best qualified personnel. Their pay should be commensurate with the standard of today’s living. AGRICULTURE — Agriculture is America’s basic industry. Without food we could not live. Therefore, a more direct look at the farm and what it produces should be taken into account. TAXES — Industry will create employment, less tax to this public and heretofore untaxable property be given another going over by those in authority.
