Mies Normie Davis Returns from Japan
Miss Mary Norman Davis arrived Tuesday in New York on the S. S. Rotterdam where she was met by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis Jr., George H. Davis, III, and the Misses Dorothy Taylor and Cil Davis. Miss Davis has been a teacher at the International Mission School in Kobe, Japan, since August 1961. She left Kobe in July and went to Manila. There she met a Peace Corps couple and continued on to India, Suez, Egypt, The Holy Land, the Nile region, Greece and Milan. In Milan they disembarked and toured Europe by car. In Surrey, England, Miss Davis attended the wedding of the Rev. Malcolm Saunders whom she had met at Roslyn the. Episcopal summer,camp, near Richmond. The Davis family returned to their home in Washington on Wednesday.
