..Miss Carolyn Gates Turner of Richmond spent the weekend with her mother Mrs. L. J. Turner. Dr. and Mrs. John Turner of Norfolk were Sunday dinner and over - night guests of Mrs. Turner. Dr. Turner represented his hospital, the Norfolk General, on a recruiting mission at the University of Virginia the first part of the week. The Rev. and Mrs. Arnold Sorrells, Peter and Denny were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. C, Campbell at Twlnland. Mrs. W. H. Fleming of Arlington was a guest for several days this week of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Glaenaer at The Rectory. Dr. Walter Russell Bowie of Alexandria was a Monday caller Of the Glaenzers. Miss Frances Wood returned to her school in Staunton on Sunday after spending a long weekend with her mother Mrs. F. Downing Wood at Sunny Side. She was accompanied by Mrs. Wood and Joe D. Keyser.
The Rev. F. Parker Thornton of Richmond officiated at the Holy Communion Service Sunday morning at Trinity Episcopal Church. Mr. E. N. Montague spoke on Stewardship, in preparation for the Every Member Canvass soon to be conducted. The Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Glaenzer, their house guest, Mrs. W. H. Fleming, the Rev. and Mrs. F. Parker Thornton and Mrs. Seville of Richmond were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at Mr. Prospect.
