A Turkey Dinner sponsored by the Sperryville Methodist Church will be held on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 196S The dinner will be held at the Lee Highway Hotel in Sperryville from 4 to 7 p.m. The tickets are -$1.25 for adults and 75<i for children under 12.

Student Wins Honor

Richard P. Corbin, a sophomore student at the University of Richmond, was honored last week at the Phi Beta Kappa Convocation as last year’s top freshman student at the Richmond college. He received Phi Beta Kappa's R. E. Loving Book Award on the basis of his academic record and "promise of future development*. One other student, Miss Judith P. Scott of Bedford and Westhampton College was similarly honored. Richard is the son of,Mr .and Mrs. David P. Corbin, former residents of Flint Hill, now living at 1001 Dirk Drive, Richmond. He attended school through the elementary grades in Rappahannock County.
