Dear Sarah,
I’m so sorry I was not at home the other day when you came by to see me but when it dawned on me that it was exactly 6 weeks until Christmas Eve I dashed over to WEAVER’S in Front Royal to start my list.
They have moved the Gift Department dcwn to the Main Floor now and it is much more convenient and the gorgeous brass fireplace equipment and accessories would gladden the heart of any housewife. If a certain Santa consults ycu about pleasing me you can just send him there. Maybe if he doesn’t go for the brass the colored glass will catch his eye.
For the young lady who considers that Christmas isn’t Christmas without a sweater, I selected a luscious shade of apricot and had it gift wrapped, and now it’s all ready. That is one of the joys of shopping now while the stock is plentiful and there is ample time for leisurely looking around while the gift wrapping is so tastefully being applied.
The Hat Department at WEAVER'S has been moved to the head of the stairs and I couldn't resist one of the fur hats for my great aunt who has everything but I'm sure she will adore it. The gift wrapping was nearly as pretty as the present.
The party clothes for Christmas are out of this world, but I couldn’t decide whether to get a red or green dress for the holidays this year. When they tcld me that hoi day things were arriving every day, then 1 thought I would go back next week and make up my mind.
