David W. Silvey
David William Silvey, 67, died Monday, November 4, 1963 at his home in Winchester. He was a native of Rappahannock County, the son of the late James Silvey. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Silvey of Richmond; a daughter, Mrs.’ Mary S. Hemming of Towson, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Julia Luttrell of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Milton A. Silvey, Staunton. Mr. Silvey was a salesman for May Hardware Company for 45 years. He was a member of Washington, Va. Masonic Lodge ft 78 AM and FM. A funeral service was held November 8 from the Amissville Methodist Church with the Rev. James Harrison officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery with Ralph H. Rowzie presiding at the Masonic rites.

Mrs. Harry Lillard accompanied her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Marshall of Culpeper Tuesday when they spent the day in Fredericksburg. Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Burke spent Thursday and Friday in Alexandria visiting Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Bennett and son, Eddie. Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Burke were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Butler and daughter Carolyn Sue of Arlington. Sunday guests were Mrs. Robert Herndon, Mrs. Ernie Cole and daughter of Culpeper, Mrs. George Butler, Mrs. Betty Thornhill and daughter, Valarie, Mrs. Thomas Winkler and daughter Kathy, Mrs, Thomas Thornkill V_ nil_
