Makes ‘Who’s Who*
Miss Gloria Jett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Jett of Flint Hill, was among the students of Virginia Union University, Richmond, who made “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.” There were 75 eligible students, with only 20 chosen, one being Miss Jett. Cam put nominating committees are instructed toconsider in making their selections, the student’s scholar-1 ship, his participation and leadership in academic and extracurricular activities, his citizenship and service to the school and his prgmise of future usefulness. The organization awards each member a certificate of recognition presented on the campus at graduation or earlier in the year.
