Both girls spent Saturday in Fredericksat Mary Washington College. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tltler spent Thursday with Mrs. Titler’s brother-in-law* and sister Mr. and Mrs. Chester Weaver and family of Boston. Willie Smith spent the weekend at the home of his sons William and James Smith in Frederick, Md. On Sunday he attended the funeral of his niece Miss Lillian Long of Frederick. The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Company wishes to thank all persons contributing to the success of the Dance sponsored by them at the Sperryville Elementary School last Friday evening. Ennis Jenkins of Washington was awarded a shotgun and hunting outfit consisting of cap, coat, pants and shoes which was given away.
