r.? Those who read their paper last week, from cover to cover might have had the feeling that someone was trying to tell them something about one of their greatest assets...Education. That’s the reason for setting aside one week in each year to highlight the priceless opportunity we have here in America. All over the United States, in all 50 States it is called American Education Week. Obviously, this means some particular attention should be paid to Education this week by every State. But who is the state? The State is made up of counties, and towns, and dwelling in each are the important assets...people. So in the last analysis, the week is designated for YOU, the people. What have you done to celebrate, o r recognize your awareness of this inheritance, this treasure, which you have available to you because you were born here in America, instead of to some parents in Asia? There was an invitation extended to you to visit the school and talk with the teach er of your child" on Satru&ty Nov. 9th., so you could better understand what your child is being taught, how he is being taught, and by whom he is being taught. If that was interesting to you, then perhaps you were one of those thirty parents who visited Rappahannock School in Washington, Virginia on Saturday. It is interesting to observe, that although there are over 300 children who attend this school 90% of the parents, for some reason did not respond to the invitation and come. Why?
