TRIBUTE ; ... After • long, useful life Mrs. DeWitt Brown Burton entered her Heavenly Home Sunday April 19, 1964 at the age of 96.
Mr. Arnold Sorrells conducted her burial using most appropriate scripture, Matthew 26:34-40.
The widow, Mrs. George Nethers and Mr. Burton were married April 1922.
She brought her membership to the Washington Baptist Church where she was a loyal, faithful member of W.M.S. for over 40 years.
She never ceased to witness for her Lord even when no longer able to attend public worship.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. We pray God’s blessing upon her family and loved ones.

Many veterans do not know :hat it is possiblefor a private physician to get a full report of any and all treatments and examinations rendered the veteran by the Veterans Administration. This courtesy is similar to the report the local doctor receives when he sends a patient to a specialist or to a hospital, and can be very helpful to the family physician in further treating a veteran. For the private doctor to receive such reports , the veteran must make a written request to the VA. This is best done on a VA form designed for the purpose, which form may be obtained from any VA office or hospital, or from my office. The veteran’s signed permission provides the VA with authority to release confidential medical Information to the family physician.
Edward M. Mathews, of the Front Royal Office of the Division of War Veterans' Claims, is in Washington at the Clerk’s Office on 1st and 3rd Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p. m. and will gladly give more details on this subject or any 3ther matter connected with veteran’s affairs.
