Around The County It seems like such a long time since I have shared the county news with you. So much has gone on or is going to happen that I will use this week' to catch you up with the news. On last Tuesday morning the County Arts and Crafts Committee met and discussed many exciting plans for those of you who like arts and crafts. They made final plans for the caning workshop on May 27th. It, will be held at Cab Inn beginning at 9:30 a.m. Anyone else who is interested in caning a chair can still contact me regarding supplies, etc. They also planned a crafts show to be held on October 31, and November 1 in the Rappahannock Library. All county residents are invited to exhibit their handicrafts. More will be published later about the show. The committee also is beginning to plan for basket weaving classes to be offered for you. Home demonstration leaders are giving club programs to their members on Household Hints to Save Time and Energy, Mrs. F. L. Bowey presented the program to the Amissville Club on Monday, the 4th of
