At Bridal Shower
Mrs. L. J. Turner and daughter Miss Carolyn Gates Turner of Washington were hostesses {Saturday afternoon^tq a large group of friends at a Bridal Shower honoring Miss Mary Norman Davis whose marriage to the Rev. Park Dickerson will take place in Washington on June 20. Miss Turner will be a member of the bridal party. The Turner home on Mt. Salem Avenue was tastefully decorated with white flowers throughout. The refreshment table in the dining room featured a green and white color scheme. The bride-elect, dressed in a blue and white linen dress, was presented with a lily of the valley corsage before she started to open the many packages.
Mrs. Myra Wolf was awarded a prize for winning the game which required the guests tc unscramble letters to form words suitable for the occasion.
