Spring House Farm were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Janney of Fredericksburg. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall King of Alexandria were callers Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller and other friends in the county. Mrs. D. D. Hudson and Henry Hudson Were Sunday callers of Miss Essie and Miss Lucy Pistes. Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Updike and daughter Gail and Mrs. George Wood spent the day Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Updike’s son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker in Culpeper. Sunday evening guests of Mrs George Wood were her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs Clyde Nethers and daughter Gloria Jean of Arlington and the H. T. Updike family. Miss Gladys Winfield spent several days this week at Peyton Place returning Tuesday to Warrenton. Mrs. George E. Terry and children of Hampton were week-end guests of her mother Mrs. B. R. Armel and Mr. Armel. M/Sgt. Terry is now stationed at Mannheim, Germany for a two year tour of duty. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr., Frank, Page and Cartie Moffett spent Sunday as guests of Mrs. Moffett’s parents the Rev. and Mrs. Edward Buxton at Springfield.
Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Scudere left Wednesday on a business trip of several days in Richmond.
Miss Annie Cooksey spent several days this week with Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Corbin in Limeton.
