Miss Judy Hawkins of Arlington spent Mother’s Day week-end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. George Hawkins.

Mrs. Lester Dodson and daughter Dorothy Lee spent the week-end in Falls Church, dividing the time between her son Lary Dodson and his family and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reyton, Jr. Donnie Dodson joined the group Sunday and made the return trip home with his mother and sister. Mrs. Perle Coffey had as her guests on Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rector and two daughters Rebecca and Raye Rector and Abe Burke of Flint Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Burke of Falls Church spent Mother*8 Day with Mrs. Burke’s mother Mrs. Maggie Clater. Mrs. P. Lee Thornton is a patient in the University of Virginia Hospital where she is having tests and treatment. Mrs. Catherine Brown had with her for Mother’s Day Miss Shirley Brown, Mr. and Mrs. E. Payne, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overholser, Vickie and Jane White, all of Arlington. On Friday' Mrs. Brown entertainecUhe Rev^jLndjvjrau, James Grimmer and the Rev. and Mrs. L. C. Vaughan for dinner.

Stork Shower

Mrs, Herndon Hudson was honored with a stork shower Saturday evening. The party was held at Washington fire hall and was given by Mrs. Edward Hudson and Mrs. Frances Tyner. The hall was attractively decorated for the occasion and refres hments were served following the open* ing of many useful and beautiful gifts by Mrs. Hudson.
