Marvin R. Bradley, III of VPI accompanied by a classmate, Julian Campbell of Richmond visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M, R. Bradford on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Moffett H. Brady attended a family picnic Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Pullen In Amissvllle. Other members of the family present Included Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCulloch of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bennett and family of Manassas, Charles and M. H. Brady, Dickey Brady and Linda Welch.*, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Easthairy Jr. of Warsaw, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Edmonds and son Eddie of Huntly In addition to manyj members of her family were! callers Sunday of Mrs. E. M. Eastham. Miss Judy Lillard of Ferrum Junior College was the weekend guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard. Sunday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. James Lillard, Jn of Warrenton. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ridenour and daughter left last Wednesday for their home at Cedar Rapids, Iowa after visit ing Mrs. Ridenour's parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady. Robert L. Massie, Jr. of Richmond spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Spalding. D. W. Kendrick of Front Royal" was a, dinner guest Saturday of the Spaldings. Robert Cook of Harpers Ferry was an over-night guest Friday of his parents, Capt. and Mrs. J. P. Cook. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker and family of Falls Church were week-end guests. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell and family and Louis Miller of Madison Heights spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols and family were visitors, Sunday of Mr. Nichols' brotherin-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Crabtree and other relatives in Hopewell. The Homemakers Club will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday, May 19 at 7:30 in the home of Mrs. Paul Miller. Edgar (Butch) Browning of the University of Virginia spent the week-end with his parents Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning. Miss Eileen Perna of Mary Washington College was the guest of the Brownings on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Browning were visitors Monday night of Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nicholl of Annapolis, Md. at their home in Browntown.
Lewis Carder and Mrs. Cameron Dye of Arlington were week-end guests of the Misses Lillie andNellie Johnson. Additional Sunday dinner guests were Mrs. C. B. Johnson and Miss Mattie Rector. Mrs. J. H. Johnson was the guest several days last week of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson.
Miss Virginia Settle spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. John W. Jenkins in Culpeper.
