Top scholastic honors in the 1964 graduating class of Rappahannock County High School have been earned by William Francis Moffett III, valedictorian and Susan Schaefer, salutatorian. Dana Snead holds third honor and Kathryn Nalls is in fourth place. There are 32 candidates for graduation. Frank is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr. of Washington. He has participated in baseball, S.C.A.,Glee Club, Varsity Club, Pep Club, French Club, choir and is a member of the annual staff. Frank will enter Virginia Military Institute in the'fall. Susan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Schaefer, Sperryville. She is president of her class, on the annual staff, active in French Club, choir, -varsity club, pep club, and a member of the basketball team. Susan will enter Radford College in September.
Dana, the daughter of Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead, Washington, is vice president of her class. She is a cheerleader, a staff member of the annual, participates in choir, pepclut* varsity club, French Club and 4-H. She will enter Mary Wash, ington College next school session. Kathryn Nalls is from Washington, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Nalls. She is president of S.C.A., a member of the annual and paper staff, and participated in choir, Library Club and Pep Club.
Garden Club WiU Meet at Reescroft
The Rappahannock Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday, May 20 at 2 o’clock at Reescroft, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Rees, with Mrs. Rees and Mrs. S. E. Hening, co-hostesses. Mrs. J. B. Perkins is chairman of the program on Arrangement Therapy. The Exhibit will be: A May Basket.
