First Baptist Church, Washington, Va. The Rev. R. C. Davis performed the ceremony. The bride wore a gown of white satin overlaid with white embroidered organza. She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums. Mrs. Mary Brown^was her sister's maid of honor. Her gown was of blue satin and her flowers were blue and white chrysanthemums. B ridesm aids were Mrs. Jeanette Pierce, sister of the bride and Mrs. Joan Bailey, a sister-in-law. Their gowns were pink satin and they carried bouquets of pink and white chrys an the mums Flower girls were Cynthia Brown and Sharon Carroll, and Dwane Brown was ring bearer. For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Bailey wore a blue lace dress with matching accessories and a corsage of white gardenias. Over 125 local and out of town guests attended the wedding. A reception was held on the lawn at the home of the bride. ' '

The “Heaven Bound" Pageant will be presented by the pupils of the Washington Graded School, Friday evening, May 15 at 8 o'clock at the Macedonia Baptist Church, Flint Hill. Sponsored by the Pastors Aid Club.
