This part of the May Day pageant at Sperryville school Friday touched the heart of every true Rappahannockan. With an appropriate background of mountains (Blue Ridge, of course) the boys in the center are picking apples, surrounded by apple blossoms and red and yellow apples. The boys are Jimmie Jenkins, Dickie Jenkins, Ike Ralls, Ray Menefee and Steve Leake.
