Miss Mattie Rector Yager Burke and” daughter Genele Burke of Maryland were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Burke. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Butler and son Billy of Culpeper were also guests of the Burkes. Mrs. Amos Butler and Miss Sandra Orange were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler in McLean and Mr. and Mrs. Winston Sibert of Takoma Park, Md. for several days last week. Mrs. J. H. Filling who has been visiting Mrs. H. B. Wood spent last'week with the Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Brown and family and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jenkins were in Fairfax on Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jenkins. Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Burke of Woodville, Mr. and Mrs. Layton Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Falls of Warrenton were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Falls. Mrs. H. B. Sykes and Mrs. Bea Whitney of Williamsburg were week-end guests of Mrs. R. L. Rudasill. Mr. and Mrs. Emory and son Larry and Mrs. Weldon Cline were Sunday guests of Major and Mrs. Charles Grizzle in Fredericksburg. v Guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley H. Patterson at Sixteen Acres were Mr. and Mrs. Karle M. Rich of Amherst, N. H. Mr. and Mrs. Rich left for Williamsburg before returning home. Carroll Quaintance of Washington, D. C. was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood for the week-end. Mrs. Sam Barber returned to her home on Thursday after spending the past several months with her son-in-law and daughter Dr. and Mrs. Alfred R. Armstrong in Williamsburg.
