“Swimmingly, absolutely swimmingly! These are the words for how last Sunday's Fox Hunt went in Rappahannock.

The innocent field, on that slightly overcast afternoon of November 8, milled about the Thornton Hill pasture at the side of the Kennels, totally unaware of the rare events in store for them. Oliver Durant was delighted with his borrowed mount, the Round Table filly that JlmBill Fletcher had brought back from Lexington a year or so ago. Jack Carney and son were on their young hunters; Carol Miller looked spotless (but not for long) on her grey Limbo; Mr. Baumgardner and his son, along with Mary Wood, were looking forward to a relaxed afternoon; Jt. Master Jack DeBergh on the great and ancient Teck had his daughter
