Diane on ner attractive buckskin pony, Bull’s Eye; Mrs. Randolph rode a powerful chestnut that needed some slow up and down hill work. Minnie Lee Wire was on hand for her third hunt. At the top, the hounds jumped a red and ran it right down again. So down we plummeted as fast as we were able; then crossed the road into the Stuart Wells’ yard, out over their coop (where Carol Miller became less spotless), and galloped to the Thornton River. Here a scene was enacted worthy of any pioneer'western film. No TV river fording has presented more sound effects or more action. Fox and hounds crossed with out incident, but then we arrived.
