Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Johnson and son Billy left Thursday for Norfolk. Mrs. H. B. Wood, Mrs. R. G. Quaintance, Mrs. Virginia Rosenburg and Mrs. J. H. Filling were visitors Thursday in Charlottesville. Mrs. Lacy Orange left Wednesday for a trip to Florida. Mr. and Mrs. William Butler and daughter of Culpeper were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Will Butler. Miss Dorothy Spicer was a Sunday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Butler. Mrs. J. H. Filling has returned to her home in Covington after a month's visit with the Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson. Guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Emory Conners were Major and Mrs. Charles Grizzle of Fredericksburg. Mrs. H. B. Wood, Mrs. R. G. Quaintance, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr. and Mrs. Mary B. Quaintance accompanied Mrs. Filling to her home on Sunday. Miss Virginia Settle was a guest Thursday evening of Mrs Will Butler. Miss Settle’s guests on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Weaver. Mrs. Cary Thornhill, Mrs. George Butler and Mrs. Jesse Hawkins visited their sister Mrs. Jesse Hoffman Monday in Orange.
