Honorary Christmas Seal Chairman for the area has beeii announced as Arthur Godfrey by Joe McDaniel, president of the Tuberculosis and Health Association of Northern Virginia. "Serving the second year in this capacity, is an indication of Mr. Godfrey’s continued interest in helping his fellowman", President McDaniel said, when he made the announcement. Less than a month ago, the genial “Red Head" was honored,at the dedication of the new airport, “Godfrey Field" at Leesburg, made possible at no cost to the town by the sale of the old airport, owned by Mr. Godfrey, who donated it to the town. The association official brought out the fact that Arthur Godfrey was of tremendous assistance last year in the educational program of the association.
