there was an Episcopal Chapel. The present building was erect ed in 1891 at a cost of $ 1,700 plus *gift” labor which was cpnsiderable. The Church was dedicated in August 1891. Although it was a rainy day, according to an old newspaper clipping, the estimated attendance was about one thousand.
