Plan Fall Show
Definite plans for a fall Arts and Crafts Show were made at the May meeting which was held Tuesday at Cab Inn in Sperryville. The first show staged last fall was so popular that many people have express, ed the hope that the show will be an annual project.
Committees were appofhted by Mrs. Tom Pillar, chairmaij and dates and policies discussed. The show will be staged very much as last year except that people who wish to put a price on an object for sale will be allowed to do so and any prospective buyer
?pan then geLinjot^h Jwijtytl^ej craftsman.^' w Other business discussed at the meeting were ideas for an entry in the forthcoming Garden Club Flower Show; scheduling dates for making this arrangement and for the next meeting, and the display of pictures done by the sketching group at the last sketching meeting. The ladies who participated were so encouraged that another day of sketching is planned for Tuesday, May 25. At that time all members of the Arts and Crafts Project will meet at Cab Inn and from there the ones wishing to sketch will goto Kilby’s lake. This group encourages any and all who would like to try their hand, man, woman or child, to join the group. There is no charge except 5 to 10 cents for paper, charcoal and colors if you don’t have your own.
