Begins Field Trips
At the meeting of the Rappahannock County Historical Society on May 3rd the members voted on activating two research projects for the coming months, and to hold a week long exhibition of all Rap pahannock historical materials, artifacts, furnishings et cetera at the Library during Fourth of July week. Dr. Wit^L. Wake was chosen chair man of the Cemetery Committee, and this group met Friday night to chart the first field trip. All of the Cemetery Committee and any other members or non members interested in going out on the first field trip and collecting data will leave from the Court House Sunday, May 16th, at 2:30 p.m. to tour Fodder Stack Road cemeteries. Dr. Wm. Wake will lead, assisted by Ned Jones. Data charts will be prepared to give out . The Committee on Rappahannock Mills will begin a similar program in the next few weeks.
