' Earl Kline Edmonds, 59, of fluntly died May 10, 1965 in Warren Memorial Hospital, following a long illness. Funeral services were held OH Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in Flint Hill Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. -Arnold Sorrells. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal. -*Mr. Edmonds was born in : Browntown, a son of the late Charles Thomas andMrs.Ca> xie Kline Edmonds. A former employee of the .American Viscose Division of FMC, he was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 29th Infantry Division. He was awarded the purple heart for injuries received in Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge, fie served on the Board of Deacons of Flint Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mary Gardner Keyser Edmonds, of fiuntly; a son, Earl K. Edtrtonds Jr., of Huntly, two bro t]bers, Frank and Austin Ed■fponds of Front Royal; and three sisters, Mrs. Charles Reeves of Front Royal; Mrs. Lillian Carpenter of Wilming ton, Del., and Mrs. Giles C. No6sett Jr. of Browntown. ^Pallbearers were George Newlin, J. R. Latham, Lewis Rudacille, B. B. Williams, t,Lieo Miller and Aubrey North. The family request that in ljeu of flowers, donations be . piade to the Flint Hill Baptist Church.
