Flag To W.E.S.

The Rhodes Chapter of the DAR, Luray, presented Washington Elementary School a new American flag for the auditorium at an assembly program last Thursday morning. The p r e s e n t a t ion was made by Mrs. Donald Keyhoe, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, a prayer and “The National Anthem". Preceding the flag presentation, pupils of the school presented a program “Let Freedom Ring*. Participating in the program were those students who had had all necessary dental corrections made during the 64-65 school session.

The pageant portrayed the growth of our country beginning with the days of the colonists, and continuing through the present. Each era was represented with a song of that period by a different class. The importance of dental
