Mr. and Mrs. Claude (Rick) Cook were callers Saturday of Mr. Cook’s grandparents Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Cook. The Cooks were enroute to Charlotte, N. C. from Detroit, Mich. Bob Cook left Sunday for his new position in the Ever, glades National Park in Florida. Among those here for the funeral of Earl Edmonds last Wednesday were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Keyser and Mrs. Lucas Cockey of Baltimore, Miss Frankie Keyser of Hyattsville, Md. and her houseguest, Mrs. Charles Keyser of San Diego, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. John Long and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Keyser of Williamsburg.

Mrs. John R. Moore spent the weekend as guests of Mrs. Mary Krause and Miss Lottie Printz. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Moore and John R. Moore were Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Griffiths of Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle, Jr. and family of Alexandria were weekend guests of Mrs. James Settle. Settle Frank and S. B. Settle of Parkersburg, W. Va. were visitors Friday of Mrs. Settle and Mr. Settle remained as an overnight guest. Mrs. Lock Burford is a surgical patient in the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
