Accidents Occur
(Continued from page 1) Chevy II station wagon operated by Sam Mason of Huntly was demolished when Mason lost control of the vehicle on a curve on Route 729 between Flint Hill and Ben Venue; When the vehicle went out of control it struck a tree and a rock wall, according to Trooper Buntin. The station wagon was owned by J.A.B, Dahlgren of Huntly. Mason was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital by Flint Hill Rescue Squad with a possible back injury. Saturday afternoon William Cameron of Huntly lost control of his car, a 61 Plymouth when a tire blew out on Route 522 near Flint Hill. The vehicle struck a culvert, resulting in about $50 damages.

Any deceased veteran of either wartime or peacetime service, whose last period of service was honorable, may be buried in any national cemetery In which grave space is available. The spouse of the eligible veteran may be buried in the same grave, or in an adjoining grave if there is space. A minor child of the veteran may also be buried in the same grave in which either parent is interred. Should the spouse or child die before the veteran, the veteran must sign a paper stating his intention to be buried in the same national cemetery before the spouse or child is permitted to be buried there. At the time of the death of veteran or his spouse or minor child eligible for burial in a National cemetery, the undertaker or person responsible for funeral arrangements should request burial directly from the superintendent of the cemetery. No gravesite may be assigned in advance of death of the veteran or that of his eligible dependent. Edward M. Mathews, of the Front Royal Office of the Division of War Veterans’ Claims, is in Washington at the Clerk's Office on 1st and 3rd Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and will gladly give more details on this subject or any other matter connected with veteran’s affairs.
