*. Mr. and Mrs. N. K. G. Tho- 1 and of Piedmont Farm left 1 rhursday by plane for a month’s visit in Sweden. Guests during the past week af Mrs. J. H. Daily were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Johnson of Dpilika, Ala., Flder and Mrs. C. W. Boyd of Frederickstown, Ohio. On Saturday Mrs. Daily and her guests attended the Union Meeting at Hawksbill Primitive Baptist Church vhere Flder Boyd was guest speaker at the afternoon session. On Sunday Flder Boyd supplied for the pastor Elder W. Daily at Thornton Gap. Dinner guests Sunday of Mrs Daily were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brubaker of Luray,her house guests, Miss Gloria Jean Durden, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Yates and daughters, and Mrs. Jennie Armentrout. Late Sunday callers were Mr. and ' Mrs. Newbern Hatcher and four children of Lovettesville, Elder and Mrs. HollieRedmon of Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and their sonFreddiej went to Radford Sunday to visit their daughter Miss Susan| Schaefer who is completing
her freshman year at Radfordj College. Mrs. Catherine Brown and Mrs. F. D. Coffey spent thei weekend in Alexandria w h e r e they were guests of Mrs. Brown son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. ISdward Payne and other members of the family. Mrs. Coffey also visited her cousin Mrs. Agnes Muterspaugh.
