Officers Meeting
The fifth annual Law Enforcement Officers Meeting was held Monday, May 17 at Quantico with personnel from over 90 police agencies in the eastern United States present. This meeting is sponsored by the Quantico Marine Corps Provost Marshal’s Office. From /this area, those attending were Judge T. Carlyle Lea, Trooper Paul Dicks, Sgt. L. Kayan, Trooper D. I. Peer. Lectures were heard on Homo-Sexuality as a Police Problem, discussed by Walter V. McLaughlin, special agent of the F.B.I. and Delinquency from the Police Viewpoint, by Deputy Chief Police John Winters of the Metropolitan Police Department, Washington, D. C. Guest speaker of the evening was Col. C. W. Woodson, Jr, Superintendent of the Virginia State Police.
