Mrs. Bertha Mason I
■ Mrs. Bertha Frances Masor I of Culpeper, died Tuesday, jj May 11, 1965, at her residence. Daughter of the late J Hezekiah Rudasill and the late :| Virginia Johnson Rudasill, anc la native of Rappahannock County, she was 86.
Mrs. Mason was the widow of George Mason of Rappahannock County who died about forty years ago. She was a ’member of Alum Spring Bapr tist Church.
She is survived by a son, Percy P. Mason of Washington, 5. C.; four sisters, Miss Lottie Rudasill, Mrs. Robert H. Carder, Mrs. John Boldridge and Mrs. W. T. Beales, all of Culpeper; two grandchildren, Wayne L. Mason of District Heights, Md., and Mrs. Kathryn E. Thorne of North Forrestville, Md., and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held Thursday, May 13, in the Geest funeral chapel, Culpeper, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. Robert F. Ellis conducted the last rites, assisted by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Pallbearers were Robert Carder, Tommy Beales, Horace Stallings, Clarence Johnson, Edward Johnson, Wir> ston Somerville, Oscar Yowell and Luther Spicer.
